We are looking for a Digital Manufacturing/Operations Technology Consultant to design, maintain, and optimize industrial automation systems. The role focuses on PLCs, Ignition SCADA, industrial communications, electrical systems, and process improvement in production environments.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Develop and support PLC, HMI, and Ignition SCADA solutions.
- Troubleshoot automation systems, motors, sensors, and electrical equipment.
- Configure industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT, PROFINET, Ethernet/IP).
- Support maintenance, commissioning, and continuous improvement activities.
- Implement monitoring, alarms, data collection, and reporting systems.
Your profile
- Degree in Production, Automation, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
- Proven experience with Ignition SCADA or other similar system and PLC-based industrial automation systems.
- Knowledge of PLC platforms such as Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley, TwinCAT, or CODESYS.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols including OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT, and Ethernet-based networks.
- Familiarity with EMS, Cognite IoT, Python, C#, and SQL are considered a plus. As well as prior experience with production systems and MES.
Note: For this position you need to have a valid Swedish work permit and/or Swedish residency.
