Senior Product Owner
As our current Product Owner is taking the next steps in our organization, wee are looking for a replacement. We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Owner with a strong commercial and efficiency focus to take ownership of one of DLL's most important business applications.
This is a role for someone who can combine product leadership with hands-on delivery. You will be expected to make decisions, prioritize effectively, and ensure that development efforts result in measurable business outcomes.
The application sits at the heart of our business processes and serves multiple external customer groups and internal users. Success in this role requires the ability to quickly understand complex processes, challenge existing ways of working, and balance competing business, regulatory, and technical needs.
Experience from banking, financial services, insurance, or other highly regulated industries is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap and priorities, ensuring they support business goals and deliver tangible value.
- Translate business needs and strategy into clear product requirements and actionable roadmaps .
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing short-term business demands with long-term product development.
- Work closely with technology, operations, risk, compliance, and commercial teams to align priorities and drive delivery.
- Analyze complex processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and customer outcomes.
- Make trade-off decisions based on business value, risk, cost, and technical constraints.
- Challenge assumptions and existing business processes when better solutions exist.
- Use data, customer insights, and business results to guide product decisions.
About You
You are comfortable taking ownership and making decisions in a complex environment. You can quickly understand how a business works, identify what matters most, and provide this focus to the rest of the team. You are able to work effectively with both senior business stakeholders and technical teams, even when priorities conflict. You are pragmatic, analytical, and results-oriented. Rather than creating presentations about problems, you solve them.You communicate clearly, challenge constructively, and build credibility through delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Lead, Business Product Owner, or similar role.
- Experience working in banking, financial services, insurance, or another regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of financial calculation .
- Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through product development.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leaders.
- Experience managing multiple initiatives, competing priorities, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English and proficient in at least one Nordic language (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, or Finnish).
