Pacera unifies financial close, consolidation and FP&A into one intelligent platform. With AARO, Aico and Mercur, finance teams turn trusted data into AI-driven insight — powering robust, scalable, and smarter decision-making for the Office of the CFO.
Pacera is hiring a Technical Delivery Lead to run the day-to-day flow of work in our Cloud operations team. You'll be the first point of contact for incoming Jira tickets — triaging, prioritizing, and assigning them across the team — and you'll stay close to each ticket through to completion, unblocking engineers and keeping stakeholders informed along the way.
This is a hybrid role — part dispatcher, part delivery owner, part hands-on engineer. You'll need a strong technical foundation in infrastructure and cloud systems to make good triage and prioritisation calls, along with the leadership skills to keep a team of engineers focused. Ticket management won't fill your whole week, so you'll also spend meaningful time working hands-on as an engineer.
Solid hands-on background in infrastructure and cloud technologies.
Experience working in a virtualized environment (ideally OpenStack and/or VMware), across both Windows and Linux systems, and comfort collaborating with outsourced/managed cloud partners.
Proven experience leading or coordinating a technical team, including people management or team-lead responsibilities.
Strong track record working in a SaaS or DevOps environment, with a good understanding of platform operations and reliability practices.
Deep familiarity with Jira (or similar ticketing/work-management tools) for triage, assignment, and workflow reporting. You should have a strong background as a power user of Jira, configuring ticket layout, workflows, automations and so on.
Excellent prioritization and organizational skills — comfortable managing a high volume of incoming requests across multiple workstreams.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail for both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
A proactive, ownership-driven mindset — you follow through until tickets are actually resolved, not just assigned.
