At Viaplay Group, we entertain millions of people every day through our streaming services, radio networks, and TV channels. We believe in the power of content not just as a way of telling stories and touching lives, but also expanding worlds.
We’re looking for the best people to join us on our journey. Right now, we’re searching for a Product Designer in our Stockholm office. You’ll be part of a cross-functional product team focused on one of the most important parts of the Viaplay experience: helping users navigate, discover and get to the content they love.
As a Product Designer, you’ll help shape how millions of users navigate Viaplay across mobile, web and TV.
You’ll work hands-on across the design process - from understanding user needs and exploring ideas to prototyping, testing and refining experiences together with the team. Your work will span navigation, discovery flows and other core parts of the product experience, with a strong focus on making Viaplay intuitive, engaging and easy to use.
You’ll join an autonomous, metrics-driven, cross-functional team working closely with Product, Engineering, Data and other parts of the organisation. You’ll have room to take ownership of your design work, while also collaborating with and learning from other designers across Viaplay.
We value curiosity, collaboration and people who are comfortable sharing work early, asking questions and improving ideas together.
We know that great candidates rarely tick every single box. If this role sounds exciting and you meet most of the must-haves below, we’d still love to hear from you, even if your experience doesn’t match everything on the list.
Experience working with product, UX and UI design for digital products
A portfolio that shows your design process and how you’ve contributed to solving real user and product problems
Experience working through different parts of the product development lifecycle, from exploring ideas through to delivery and iteration
Good visual design skills and experience working with design systems and brand guidelines.
Experience creating wireframes, flows and prototypes in Figma
Experience collaborating with product managers, developers and other disciplines in a cross-functional environment
The ability to explain your design decisions, listen to feedback and iterate together with others
A user-focused mindset and an interest in using insights and data to improve your designs
It’s a bonus if you have:
Designing navigation, discovery or content-rich experiences
Designing across multiple platforms, such as mobile, web or TV
Working with streaming, media, entertainment or other content-focused products
Conducting or participating in user research and usability testing
Using quantitative data or product analytics to understand user behaviour
Contributing to a shared design system
Exploring AI-enabled ways of working in design, whether that means using AI to speed up exploration, prototyping and research synthesis, or being curious about how design practices may evolve as AI becomes more integrated into product development
