Regional Technical Lead (Team Lead / Principal) - TechOps Infrastructure (SWE)

You will lead and mentor an engineer while staying close to complex, hands-on technical problem-solving.
Balancing local Swedish technical requirements with global operational standards, you will drive Infrastructure-as-Code automation, maintain virtualization and firewall stacks, and guarantee peak system reliability.
Do you think you have what it takes?

You have 5+ years of experience in technical operations, with background as a team lead or principal engineer.
- You take ownership of complex environments, balancing regional autonomy with global operational standards.
- You possess deep hands-on proficiency across VMware, Linux, Windows, Cisco/Extreme switching, and Fortigate firewalls/VPNs.
- You are driven by an automation-first mindset, using IaC and scripting to streamline deployments and minimize operational toil.
- You are not afraid to talk to people and effortlessly bridge communication between local engineers and multi-cultural global teams.
- You prioritize system reliability, security compliance, incident response, and strict SLO performance.
Nice to have:

Experience with project management or executing structured technical rollouts.
- Background navigating compliance in highly regulated sectors (such as defense, government, or finance).
- Vendor management experience and cost-awareness for regional operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
