Team Altitude works with end-to-end testing of Cruise features within ADAS in real vehicles. The focus is on verifying that the software behaves correctly in real-world conditions, not just in simulations.
The team combines different competencies, including simulation and vehicle testing. In this role, you will be part of the vehicle testing group, working closely with development teams and ARTs.
This is a highly collaborative setup, where you will work closely with others, often from the office, to solve issues that span systems and teams. You will interact with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that testing results lead to concrete actions.
In this role, you are responsible for connecting system design with real-world behavior in vehicles. You ensure that Cruise functions perform correctly, are stable, and meet both technical and user expectations.
This is not a role with clearly defined tasks only. You will need to identify issues, drive discussions, and help teams align on ownership and solutions. A large part of the work involves understanding system behavior and driving work forward across teams.

It is not an entry-level testing role.
You should be comfortable working close to the product and taking ownership of problems that are not clearly defined. You know how to analyze system behavior, collaborate with different stakeholders, and move work forward even when priorities change.
