About the role
As Head of Digital & IT, you will be responsible for shaping and building the technology platform that enables Commercial Care’s consumer-health model. The role brings together digital product ownership, CRM and marketing automation, data and BI, clinical systems, core IT, integrations and IT support to support both commercial performance and safe, efficient clinic operations.
You will work closely with business and clinic leaders to translate commercial and operational priorities into scalable digital solutions and a clear delivery roadmap. A central part of the role is to connect business needs, customer journeys and technology, and to strengthen the organisation’s ability to prioritise, deliver and realise value from Digital & IT investments.
You will ensure that systems and digital capabilities are secure, scalable and user-oriented. In close collaboration with the MarTech team, you will help build a connected Consumer Health technology platform across CRM, marketing automation, customer data, booking, clinical systems and BI.
You will lead the Digital & IT function and its external delivery partners and report to the Commercial Excellence & Product Director.
In this role, you will

Lead the Digital & IT strategy, roadmap and delivery agenda across commercial platforms, clinical systems, core IT, data and BI
- Act as a senior Digital & IT partner to business and clinic leaders, translating commercial and operational priorities into scalable solutions, clear roadmaps and measurable outcome
- Build and develop the Digital & IT capability setup, combining internal expertise with external partners
- Lead the development of CRM, marketing automation, customer data and analytics capabilities, working closely with the MarTech team to create a connected customer journey and improve acquisition, conversion and retention
- Define and evolve the architecture and integration landscape to support scalability, reliability and effective data flows
- Strengthen data and BI capabilities to support commercial and operational performance management
- Oversee IT operations and support, ensuring stable systems, effective service and business continuity
- Take responsibility for cybersecurity, risk and compliance in collaboration with relevant Group functions and partners
- Establish clear prioritisation, portfolio governance and capacity planning together with key stakeholders
- Manage vendors, service levels, licensing, budgets and delivery performance

Several years of experience in a senior Digital & IT, digital product, technology or martech leadership role
- A strong track record of partnering with business leaders and translating commercial and operational needs into technology priorities and delivery
- Experience building or developing connected, consumer-facing technology platforms across CRM, customer data, digital journeys, operational systems and BI
- Experience leading digital transformation, platform development and complex system implementations
- Good understanding of architecture, integrations, IT operations and service management
- Experience managing external partners, vendors and mixed internal/external delivery models
- Experience building or developing connected, consumer-facing technology platforms across CRM, customer data, digital journeys, operational systems and BI
- Experience with cybersecurity, risk and compliance, preferably in a regulated environment
- Experience with budgeting, investment prioritisation and financial follow-up
- Experience from a multi-site, international or matrix organisation
- Experience from healthcare, consumer health, retail or another conversion-driven business is an advantage
