In Sweden, our teams operate Sweden’s only full-scale indium phosphide wafer fabrication facility, where we design, manufacture, and test some of the world’s fastest optical chips under one roof, supporting AI infrastructure, data centers, and global communications networks worldwide.
You will be responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring the production flow from inbound to outbound (end-to-end responsibility) to ensure high delivery precision, efficient resource utilization, and a stable flow. The role acts as a key link between demand, material supply, production, and delivery. The team is growing and we are looking for our newest member to focus on outbound production flow.
Ensure that demand is translated into a feasible production plan
Participate in forecasting and contribute to improved forecast accuracy
Balance demand against capacity and material availability (constrained planning)
Ensure material availability in line with production and capacity plans
Follow up on supplier deliveries and internal material flows
Identify and manage risks related to material shortages
Develop and maintain short- and mid-term production plans
Ensure optimal sequencing and utilization of production resources
Monitor plan performance and take corrective actions in case of deviations
Actively work to improve plan stability and adherence (plan vs. actual)
Outbound (Delivery and Distribution Planning)
Ensure finished goods are delivered according to plan and customer requirements
Coordinate with logistics and distribution to optimize deliveries
Follow up on delivery performance
Manage returns
Identify and drive improvements in planning processes and ways of working
Contribute to standardization and development of tools and system support
Work in a data-driven manner with KPIs and performance follow-up
Coordination and Communication
Act as a central link between Sales, Procurement, Production, and Logistics
Participate in forums with suppliers and customers
Take part in daily operational meetings and deviation management
Communicate changes in plans and ensure alignment across the organization
Relevant education within production, logistics, supply chain or related field, or equivalent experience
Fluency in both Swedish and English (written and spoken)
Proven experience managing customer requirements and offering customer support
Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle; database knowledge and experience in system administration are considered an advantage
