Your future role
Join a cutting-edge engineering team in Liljeholmen-Stockholm, shaping the future of railway signaling and safety systems. As a Hardware Validation Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and validation of wayside products within the Onvia Balise program, including balises, programming tools, and encoders.
This is a hands-on, technically rich role where you will contribute to both new product development and the lifecycle support of existing solutions, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards for safety, reliability, and performance. You will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and have the opportunity to expand your expertise toward system and product development.
You will plan and execute Verification & Validation (V&V) activities on electronic hardware systems, ensuring products meet design, safety, and operational requirements through rigorous testing and analysis.
We'll look to you for:
All about you
Proven experience in:
Electronics testing (RF, EMC, environmental testing preferred)
Development of electronics test benches
Execution and analysis of hardware validation tests
Strong knowledge of:
Electronic test tools and validation software
Change management, configuration management, and requirements traceability tools
Familiarity with programming (C, C++, C#) is a plus
Exposure to safety-critical systems development is advantageous
Ability to produce clear technical documentation, specifications, and reports
A proactive problem solver with a creative mindset
Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
Curiosity and drive to grow within hardware, system, or product development
