- Solid experience in a technology/business interface role – for example 5-7+ years as an IT Business Partner, Digital Transformation Lead, Digital Business Analyst or similar preferably from consulting firms or multinational organizations. Experience in professional services and finance-related processes or Tax & Legal domain is a strong plus.
- Strategic mindset and strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to see the “big picture” and translate complex business needs into a clear technology strategy and actionable initiatives. You bring an exceptional ability to quickly understand a business context, identify key processes, understand pain points, and value drivers, and translate business needs into well-defined, best-fit technology solutions. You have a proven ability to develop business cases and drive prioritization.
- Strong stakeholder management skills – comfortable collaborating with senior business leaders and technical teams. You are effective at building trust and can influence decisions at executive level.
- Proven track record of delivering digital solutions or transformation projects that have improved business outcomes. You have a proven ability to build digital roadmaps and manage demand pipelines and experience with test management and quality assurance.
- Fluency in technology topics, with an understanding of enterprise IT architecture, software delivery processes, and familiarity with common platforms within Finance, including Data & Analytics tools, Automation platforms, AI and GenAI tools, and configurable platforms. You do not need to code, but you can converse with developers and architects credibly.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills – able to facilitate and run workshops, write clear requirements, and present roadmaps or business cases, and the ability to make informed decisions on buy vs build vs configure.
- Adaptability and multi-tasking ability – you will be balancing priorities across different service lines, so strong organizational skills are a must.
- Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Tax, Law, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA, and IIBA-CBDA are an advantage and additional certifications in project management, solution architecture, or similar are a plus.
- Fluency in English is required and a strong proficiency in Swedish is preferred.
Success in the role
You will succeed as a Business Technology Lead when you consistently deliver aligned, high-impact tech initiatives for our Tax & Legal practices. In 12-18 months, success means that each supported service line has a clear digital roadmap in motion, key projects delivered or underway with tangible efficiency gains, and positive feedback from service line leaders on the value of technology partnership. You will be seen as the go-to person bridging Tax & Legal needs with tech solutions, and you will have fostered a culture of collaboration and innovation across business and the Technology team.
