What you will do
At Volvo Buses, Business Unit Chassis Operations, you will play a key role in enabling business performance through strong leadership, trusted People and Culture partnership, and continuous improvement. You will coach and support leaders across the full People and Culture agenda — from performance, talent and competence development to recruitment and workforce planning. You will translate business direction into clear People and Culture priorities, roadmaps, and actions that strengthen both long-term capability and day-to-day operational excellence. You will support and lead change, strengthen engagement, and help create the conditions for sustainable results. You will also collaborate closely with union representatives and key stakeholders to build trust, ensure sound labor relations, and find solutions that support both people growth and business needs. As a management team member you are expected to learn and contribute on all domains across the complexity of the operation, and assume collective responsibility for business performance.
Your future team
You will report to the Vice President BUC Operations and be part of both the BUC Operations Management Team and the Borås Plant Management Team. This means working close to the operation while partnering with leaders across the organization to support people, performance, and transformation. Alongside you will have the People & Culture team in Sweden as close colleagues who will be there for advice, support and great laughs together.
Who are you?
Do you dream big? We do too, and we are excited to grow together. In this role, you will bring strong business understanding and a people-first leadership style, with the ability to create clarity, energy, and collaboration in an operational environment. You build confidence through communication, integrity, and a constructive approach, and you turn objectives into practical actions that deliver results. You are comfortable taking initiative, leading through change, and balancing strategic topics with everyday priorities. You are a true team player who builds relationships.
