Job Details

Role: Account Executive – New Business
Location: Remote within Austria, Germany, Spain, Italy, Sweden or Poland
Language: Full professional English and Portuguese. Any other European language spoken in our markets (e.g. Spanish, German, Italian, French, Polish) is a plus
Experience: At least 5 years in B2B sales with a clear focus on outbound
Salary: €40,000 – €50,000 gross/year

The Role

We are looking for an Account Executive – New Business to build a pipeline and close business in new markets. This is an outbound-first role: you will open doors that are not yet open, through cold calling, email, video, LinkedIn and whatever creative prospecting gets you in front of the right person. You own the opportunity from first touch to signature, and you stay close to your customers after the deal is done.

You will be selling into POS providers, billing and invoicing software vendors, ERP partners and retail technology companies — technical buyers who care about API quality and business buyers who care about staying on the right side of the law. Both conversations are yours.

️ What You'll Do

Generate your own pipeline through consistent, high-quality outbound activity: cold calls, sequenced email, video, LinkedIn and creative prospecting
Run the full funnel: prospecting, discovery, solution mapping, negotiation, contract signing and post-sale support
Keep the funnel moving: open new opportunities while advancing the deals already in play, with the discipline to do both every week
Become genuinely credible on the fiscalization and e-invoicing regulations in your markets, so you can answer legal and basic technical questions without needing to escalate every time
Translate a technical API product into clear business value for non-technical buyers
Work with Legal and Solution Engineering on the questions that genuinely need them, and bring the market's objections back into the business
Keep your pipeline data clean and your forecast honest

What You Bring

At least 5 years in B2B sales with a strong outbound track record — you have built pipeline from nothing, not just worked inbound leads
Full professional English and Portuguese
Any other European language spoken in one of our markets is a plus
Credible presence: you can hold a room with a CFO, a product lead and a developer in it
A very good listener — you ask the second and third question, not just the first
Methodical and self-directed, with the discipline to keep activity consistent when nobody is checking
Able to explain complex, regulated topics simply
An entrepreneurial mindset: you enjoy an environment where the playbook is still being written and you are expected to help write it
Curious, competitive and coachable, and honest about what you don't know yet

Nice to have

It will really impress us if you already have experience in the VAT world — e-invoicing, fiscal reporting or tax compliance software
International experience in a European startup or scaleup
Background in compliance, accounting, billing software, POS or PMS
Experience selling an API-based or otherwise technical product
