You are just as comfortable rolling up your sleeves to coordinate collateral and suppliers as you are proofreading copy, updating templates or supporting an event. Reporting to the Director, Brand, Marketing and Communications, the Marketing Coordinator plays an important role in supporting the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute brand. You will help coordinate day to day marketing activity, manage brand assets and templates, support content and production workflows, and provide practical marketing support across the Institute.
This is a varied and hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys working across both creative and operational tasks. You will partner closely with the Digital Engagement & Content Producer and work with teams across the Institute to deliver polished, on-brand materials that support research, events, communications and fundraising activity. It is a fantastic opportunity to develop broad marketing experience while learning from an experienced and supportive team.
- Supporting the consistent application of the Institute's brand across internal and external materials
- Maintaining and updating templates, branded collateral and marketing assets
- Acting as a first point of contact for internal brand, design and collateral requests
- Assisting with the production of presentations, posters, signage, merchandise and event materials
- Coordinating external suppliers such as designers, printers, photographers and agencies
- Supporting website content updates, digital assets and content publishing
- Assisting with copywriting, proofreading and editing across a range of channels
- Helping the team deliver marketing projects, campaigns and events smoothly and professionally
- You have a degree in marketing, communications, design or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience
- You have at least two years' experience in marketing coordination or a similar role
- Excellent writing, proofreading and communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong understanding of branding and the importance of consistency across channels
- Confident using Microsoft Office, Canva and have some familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
- Enjoy working collaboratively and building positive relationships across a wide range of stakeholders
- Proactive, adaptable and genuinely excited to learn and grow in your career
- Available to be onsite at our Darlinghurst office 3 days a week

The Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute (the Institute) is dedicated to finding cures for cardiovascular disease and is one of the most respected heart research facilities in the world.
