Job description
We are looking for an Embedded Software Test Engineer (Infotainment) to support the preparation, maintenance, and operation of infotainment test environments used in embedded software development.
In this role, you will ensure that test rigs and test vehicles are always ready for development and validation activities. You will collaborate with engineering teams across multiple locations while acting as the primary on-site specialist in Lund, coordinating priorities and supporting stakeholders to deliver reliable testing environments.

Your Responsibilities
Build, configure, and maintain infotainment test rigs and test vehicles.
Prepare test environments for embedded software development and validation.
Perform system integration and verification of ECUs and infotainment platforms.
Configure and troubleshoot communication over CAN, LIN, and Ethernet networks.
Execute Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing using industry-standard tools.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues using automotive diagnostic protocols.
Support software updates, ECU flashing, and validation activities.
Develop or improve test automation and data analysis using scripting tools.
Work closely with engineering teams across different locations to ensure test object availability.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing infrastructure and future test platforms.
Required Skills
Strong experience in automotive embedded software testing or system validation.
Solid knowledge of HiL testing and embedded systems.
Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, dSPACE, and Vector tools.
Good understanding of ECU architecture and automotive communication protocols:
CAN
LIN
Ethernet
Experience with diagnostic protocols such as UDS and OBD-II.
Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with distributed engineering teams.
Nice to Have
Experience with infotainment or HMI validation.
Knowledge of Python or MATLAB for automation and data analysis.
Experience supporting multiple engineering sites.
Familiarity with workshop tools and hardware/software debugging.
Experience with ECU flashing, software release validation, or vehicle testing.

Salary range:
480 SEK/hour – Up to 4 years of relevant experience
570 SEK/hour – More than 5 years of relevant experience
The stated compensation falls within the established salary range for this position and is determined based on experience, technical skills, and level of responsibility, in accordance with our policy of fair and non-discriminatory compensation.
