Lund University was founded in 1666 and is repeatedly ranked among the world’s top universities. The University has around 46 000 students and 8 500 staff based in Lund, Helsingborg and Malmö. We are united in our efforts to understand, explain and improve our world and the human condition.
The Division of Building Services Engineering has for a long time conducted nationally and internationally leading research and education with a broad scope within the field of building services engineering, linked in various ways to resource use and the indoor environment. The goal is to create optimized, energy and resource efficient buildings with good indoor environmental quality, functionality, and long service life. Our research is carried out both within large international projects with many collaborating partners and in national projects with strong ties to industry. Within LTH, we are active in several centers and profile areas, and we lead the profile area Circular Building Sector as well as the National Renovation Centre. We also maintain a collaboration agreement with the Swedish Association of HVAC Contractors (Installatörsföretagen).
The Division of Building Services Engineering is one of nine divisions within the Department of Building and Environmental Technology. The division currently has around 15 employees. Our premises are located in the V-building on the LTH campus in Lund.
The person we are seeking has broad knowledge within the described subject areas, as well as in-depth expertise in some of them, for example in building services components and systems and their practical control.

energy systems in and outside buildings, for example district heating networks and heat pumps connected to buildings indoor environmental quality and humans well-being indoors
-
analysis, design and dimensioning of building services systems for heating, cooling, ventilation, water supply, wastewater, sprinkler systems, electricity and control systems in buildings
-
constituent materials, components and systems inside and outside the building related to its technical installations and technical function and performance
-
user needs and behaviour as boundary conditions for the requirements placed on building services engineering.
The methodology includes theory, calculations, investigations, measurements in laboratory experiments and field measurements.
