We are looking for junior technical project managers to help our team deliver advanced, high-performance electronics and sensors to our customers in the space segment. You will be based at our office in Gothenburg.
We are looking for someone who wants to grow in project management within the space sector. You will work in a dynamic environment with a fast pace, exciting projects, and challenging deadlines. You have a technical background with some experience in project management or similar.
You will mainly provide support and relieve the lead project manager in larger projects, but you may also lead smaller projects on your own. Tasks may include being responsible for a subproject and ensuring external suppliers stay on schedule. The goal is to help projects be completed according to set targets in terms of time, quality, and delivery. You will work closely with technical specialists, project managers, and other stakeholders in a business with high standards for quality and precision.
About the job:
- Lead small technical development projects
- Lead and monitor subcontractors through reports, status meetings, and ongoing dialogue
- Plan, lead, and document meetings, ensuring that decisions and activities are followed up
- Analyze project plans and schedules to identify risks, deviations, and potential delays
- Coordinate status reporting together with technical experts and project management
- Work with colleagues to develop project plans
- Organize and maintain project data, report on, and communicate the projects' ongoing activities to relevant stakeholders
- Have close dialogue with colleagues and the team to discuss project challenges and solutions
- Support the development and maintenance of processes and other documentation
You yourself:
- Have a relevant technical background – preferably a master's degree in microwave technology or electronics
- Previous experience working with international subcontractors
- Have a good understanding of complex technical systems and development projects
- Understanding of and interest in project economics and cost follow-up
- Are analytical, structured, and have a good ability to see connections and identify risks
- Enjoy a coordinating role with many points of contact
- Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Experience from a small or medium-sized business environment is a plus
