ALTEN Sweden is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Databricks, cloud platforms, and modern data engineering to join an exciting long-term assignment. You will be part of a highly skilled team developing and maintaining data platforms and pipelines that enable large-scale analytics, data science, and machine learning initiatives.

About the role
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data platforms and data pipelines with a strong focus on Databricks.
- Drive improvements to platform architecture, setup, and capabilities.
- Develop and maintain robust ETL and data pipelines for large-scale operational data.
- Design and implement data governance models, metadata management solutions, and data catalog capabilities.
- Ensure high standards for data quality, security, compliance, and data discoverability.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for Databricks and cloud environments.
- Build automated, reliable, and reproducible platform environments.
- Collaborate with developers, Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Translate technical and business requirements into scalable and production-ready data solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous development, operation, and maintenance of the data platform.
