Key required experience:
- Several years of C/C++ development for applications (Linux)
- More than 1 year experience in image analysis logic (double detection trough image fingerprinting, similiar image detection, shape detection, drawings detection)
Required skills:
- Object-oriented design and programming, preferably including experience with C++
- Practical experience delivering high-quality commercial software over multiple releases
- Intermediate english, written and oral communication skills;
- Ability to work independently, juggling multiple demands and changing priorities;
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt.
- Experience developing software that integrates with SQL databases.
Preferred skills:
- Experience with system-level programming and debugging on Linux;
- Development experience in either PHP, Java or Python
- Experience working with large databases;
- Experience writing multi-threaded, multi-process and cross-platform software;
- Experience with scalability (horizontal and vertical), performance tuning;
- Experience with Agile methodologies and techniques (e.g. Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Design Patterns);
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
Key responsibilities:
- Take part in challenging server-side projects for our serach-engine
- Design and implementation in a multi-threaded, high load distributed system
- Design and implement new systems, modules and features, as well as evolve existing ones
- The applicant must have the ability to work as part of the development team but also lead tasks from start to end
You will be working full-time as a developer together with the rest of our dedicated team in Kiev, Ukraine and Växjö, Sweden.
Although we have teams in both Sweden and Ukraine we belive in working as much as possible on-site together here at our office in Sweden. Threfore you need to be able to travel and work ca 40-45% of the time in Växjö, Sweden. If everything works well it’s also possible to get a work-permit in Sweden to move and work here permanently for you and your family.
