That's why we are looking for an entrepreneurial Key Account Manager who wants to make a real impact and help shape the future of organic food demand in the Nordics.
In this role, your main focus will be Sweden. You will play an active role in expanding the use of organic food ingredients across the food industry and various sales segments. This will be done by cultivating ongoing and new partnerships with food manufacturers, packers and wholesalers, identify new sales segments and product opportunities.
Your primary focus will be on Swedish food industry although you may also work with customers in Norway and Finland. You will be part of an international, flexible and entrepreneurial working environment, closely connected to our Nordic regional office in Copenhagen and our Dutch headquarters in Barneveld.
As Account Manager, your responsibilities include:
Developing and expanding ongoing and new customer relationships within the Nordic food industry.
Providing solutions and opportunities that enable the success and growth of your customers
Identifying and converting new business opportunities to real commercial solutions
Managing the complete sales process, from initial contact to release of goods
Negotiating prices, contracts and commercial agreements.
Working closely with Category Managers and the Quality team to provide customers with the best information and solutions.
Representing DO IT Organic in the Nordic market through customer meetings, trade fairs and other B2B related activities
Screening market channels for opportunities through websites, store visits, network building and other pro-active steps
Success in this role is measured both quantitatively and qualitatively. You will work with a budget, turnover target and margin target. Equally important is the ability to improve the quality of communication, relationship building, the customer onboarding process and the way we are represented in the market as a professional supplier.
You will report to the Nordic Team Lead, based in Copenhagen, who will support your professional development, product knowledge, pricing insights, customer planning and execution, training and mentorship.
Full-time availability (40 hours per week).
Experience within the food industry.
Fluency in Swedish and English.
A commercial, proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to develop new business opportunities.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
A genuine interest in sustainability and organic food.
Based in Sweden (preferred), Denmark or Norway.
Willingness to travel regularly within the Nordics and to our Nordic office in Copenhagen and our headquarters in The Netherlands.
