CGI is seeking a strategic and proactive PR & Media Lead to strengthen CGI's reputation, market visibility, and executive profile in Sweden.
Working as part of the Sweden Marketing & Communications organization, this role serves as a trusted communications advisor to business leaders and plays a key role in shaping CGI's external narrative through strategic media relations, thought leadership, executive communications, integrated communications programs, and reputation management.
Marketing & Communications at CGI operates as a strategic business partner. Success comes from enabling the business to grow, strengthen client relationships, attract talent, and engage Partners through compelling storytelling, integrated communications, data-driven campaigns, and consistent brand positioning. The PR & Media Lead contributes to these objectives by building strong relationships with media, identifying opportunities to position CGI's expertise, and ensuring consistent, impactful communications that support business priorities.
The successful candidate is naturally curious and commercially minded, proactively engaging with business leaders to uncover compelling client stories, business successes, industry insights, and thought leadership opportunities. Rather than waiting for communication requests, this role actively identifies opportunities, challenges leaders to share their expertise, and drives the communications agenda to strengthen CGI's reputation, market presence, and business growth. The role also plays an important part in protecting CGI's reputation by supporting incident and crisis communications, ensuring timely, accurate, and coordinated communications during sensitive business situations.
The ideal candidate combines excellent writing and communications expertise with sound business judgment, media experience, and the ability to proactively identify opportunities that strengthen CGI's reputation and support business growth.
