ccenture is hiring an Automotive Software Platform Verification Senior Engineer to strengthen our automotive team in Gothenburg.
In this cross-functional role you will be on-site technical representative at customer location to provide direct support and contribute to developing and maintaining developer platform infrastructure and software-in-the-loop (SiL) environments. The role focuses on faster, more reliable, and more automated verification of embedded software. This role requires frequent presence at client premises in Gothenburg, thus we look for candidates having existing working permit/rights in Sweden or right to work in EU.
Industry X is Accenture’s capability focused on engineering and manufacturing transformation — it’s about how products are designed, built, connected, and operated across their entire lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
For the Developer Platform, design and maintain a unified, hermetic developer container (Docker/OCI) for toolchains, build systems, SDKs and test runners (Linux, QNX, FreeRTOS, Android)
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines; maintain container registry with versioned images and changelogs
Establish a clear E2E developer journey: bring-up scripts, debugging workflows, log/trace collection
Enable and optimize workloads on cloud infrastructure (AWS, Terraform)
Enable developers and testers to work with embedded automotive software stacks in pure-software environments (software-in-the-loop, SiL)
Implement multi-VM / container communication on protocol layers (Ethernet, SomeIP, CAN)
Develop helper tools and integrate simulation models into the SiL environment
As on-site customer interface, serve as on-site technical liaison; support integration, verification and vehicle testing at customer facilities
Facilitate rapid issue identification, debugging and resolution; communicate feedback to development teams
Provide hands-on support for software flashing, configuration and milestone reviews
Primary skills for the role:
More than 5 years of experience, with experience in customer-facing roles and automotive projects
Python and Bash proficiency
Cloud / IaC: Terraform, AWS (or equivalent), developer environments at scale
CI/CD: GitHub Actions, pipeline-as-code, artifact management
