Manager Local Application Centre & Field Installation Nordics
Location: Linköping (preferred) | Scope: Sweden & Finland
We are seeking a person to shape and grow a vital part of our Nordic delivery organization. In this role, you will be responsible for both the Lubrication Assembly Centre (LAC) in Linköping and our field installation teams across the Nordics, primarily in Sweden and Finland.
You will lead a manager-of-managers structure, with around 12 direct reports and an overall organization of approximately 40–50 employees. As part of the Nordic management team, you will play a central role in ensuring stable, efficient, and high-quality delivery across sites and teams.
The role combines day-to-day operational responsibility with a clear focus on structure, planning, and continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Lead and support managers responsible for LAC and Field Installation
Take overall responsibility for installation delivery
Own planning, resource allocation, and delivery execution across teams and sites
Ensure efficient operations across installation, kitting, and workshop/LAC activities
Drive improvements in ways of working, productivity, and delivery performance
Follow up on KPIs and ensure actions are taken where needed
Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
Ensure compliance with SKF quality and EHS standards, and promote a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and certification readiness across the organization.
Your background an experiences
We believe you bring:
Leadership experience, either from a formal leadership role or team lead role, ideally including leading other managers
Experience from service delivery, production environment, warehouse and/or kitting.
Ability to improve performance and support continuous improvement
Experience working across teams, sites, or geographies
Fluency in Swedish and English, effective in verbal and written communication
It is also beneficial if you have:
Experience working in a Nordic setup
Experiences from working in heavy industry
Experience in collaborating with subcontractors or partners
