We are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer (x|f|m) to join our Engineering team. As part of a collaborative and innovation-driven environment, you will contribute to building a modern cloud-based data analytics platform that helps scientists and process experts transform complex data into meaningful insights. In this Fullstack Software Engineer role, you will work across the entire software lifecycle and help deliver solutions that support our mission of Simplifying Progress. Through close collaboration with Product Management, UX and engineering teams, you will contribute to continuous improvements and create value for users worldwide. This position is available full-time. It is a hybrid role requiring some days on site at our site in Umea with the opportunity to work some days remotely.
Grow with us – Your Responsibilities
Build and evolve web-based data analytics features in a modern cloud environment, continuously learning from real user feedback and usage in production
Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot and implement frontend components in TypeScript and React to deliver end-to-end functionality
Ingest, transform and visualize complex data through rich, interactive charts, making information accessible and valuable for users
Own services across their full lifecycle following a DevOps mindset (“build it, you run it”), including operating solutions in production
Deliver value continuously through weekly production releases and frequent iterations in a fast-paced development cycle
Collaborate closely with product management, UX and customers to understand user needs and translate them into impactful solutions
Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture by sharing knowledge, participating in code reviews and continuously improving ways of working, including experimentation and the responsible use of modern technologies such as AI
What will convince us
Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a comparable scientific field
Several years of experience as a Software Engineer working on web applications and modern software products
Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript and React, with interest in growing towards full-stack ownership
Experience with cloud and platform technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker and Azure DevOps as well as familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices
Understanding of code quality, clean architecture, secure coding practices and good documentation
Interest or experience in data visualization and the ability to make complex information accessible through thoughtful user interfaces and interactive charts
Collaborative mindset with experience working closely with Product, UX and engineering teams, as well as appreciation for feedback, transparency and continuous learning
Motivation to work with real users and to see solutions in production, combined with a results-oriented and proactive way of working
Fluent English and Swedish skills
