What You Will Do
- Design and operate cloud infrastructure for large-scale consumer platforms with a strong focus on compute, networking, GPU resource management, and cost efficiency as a first-class engineering priority
- Build Kubernetes-based orchestration systems with deep understanding of resource scheduling, isolation boundaries, failure propagation, and operational reliability
- Build high-performance ML model serving infrastructure supporting concurrent model versions, canary and shadow deployments, and low-latency inference delivery within the performance and reliability constraints of a live consumer product
- Build CI/CD pipelines that give the team the deployment confidence and velocity of a dedicated platform engineering function
- Design data architecture with built-in classification, retention policies, access controls, and audit logging from day one
- Build comprehensive observability infrastructure including distributed tracing, model performance monitoring, cost tracking, and intelligent alerting for full production visibility
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a directly related field from KTH, Chalmers, or an institution of equivalent standing — or equivalent demonstrated production experience in lieu of formal qualification
- 2 or more years of experience originating and operating production infrastructure at meaningful scale; has designed systems that real products depend on, not maintained existing ones
- Kubernetes expertise below the configuration layer; real understanding of scheduler behavior, runtime characteristics, and resource contention
- Experience operating ML workloads in production; model versioning, inference scaling, and GPU resource management
- Infrastructure-as-code practice applied comprehensively and without exception
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GDPR obligations applied at the infrastructure and data architecture level
- Background from Spotify infrastructure, Ericsson cloud, King platform engineering, or Einride
- Demonstrated track record of provisioning production-grade infrastructure at a pace that sets a new reference point for teams around you
- 2–7 years of relevant experience
