Siemens Smart Infrastructure Electrification & Automation (EA) is a leading provider of protection and control systems, power distribution solutions, including low- and medium-voltage switchgear.
We are now looking for a highly skilled Bid Manager to lead complex tenders for end-customer projects, primarily within industrial segments, Data Center and power generation.
About the Role
In this role, you will take ownership of the entire bid process, acting as the project manager for tenders, ensuring successful execution from start to submission.
Leveraging the full Siemens EA portfolio, you will develop and drive customer-specific solutions for control and protection systems as well as switchgear projects. Your mission is to align technical excellence with commercial competitiveness while meeting customer expectations, timelines, and quality requirements.
You will be responsible for qualified sales, encompassing both technical and commercial aspects of bids across the entire EA portfolio. The bids you oversee will include systems and turnkey solutions, with a strong focus on low- and medium-voltage switchgear, automation, and electrification solutions for industrial customers, Data Center and power generation facilities.
Your Responsibilities

Lead and manage complex bid processes as the overall bid project manager

Structure, drive, and coordinate cross-functional bid teams toward defined goals

Develop customer-adapted technical and commercial solutions using the full EA portfolio

Ensure bids are delivered on time, with high quality and competitiveness

Analyze customer requirements and translate them into optimized solutions
-
Balance technical, commercial, and risk aspects throughout the bid lifecycle

Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and other stakeholders

Our team is distributed across Sweden, and the position offers flexible location. Preferred locations are Västerås, Solna, Malmö, Gothenburg, Norrköping or Örebro but other locations can be considered.

We believe you have:

Proven experience in complex bid/tender management, ideally within industrial or energy projects

Strong capability to act as a project leader, structuring and driving bid teams effectively

A background in electrical engineering or equivalent experience

Solid understanding of power distribution systems, control systems, and switchgear applications

Experience working with industrial customers and/or power generation projects
-
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and installations
-
A structured, solution-oriented, and result-driven mindset
-
Strong communication and organizational skills

Fluent in English and Swedish is a merit

A valid driver’s license
