About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to support the final and most complex phase of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program. This phase involves significant business and technical dependencies, complex migration activities, and critical cutover planning across multiple international business units.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating delivery across several SAP workstreams, ensuring alignment between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners while driving successful execution toward key program milestones.
The consultant should be available to travel approximately two times per month to various European locations as required by the program.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and orchestrate SAP Wave 3 delivery activities across multiple workstreams and business units.
Act as the primary interface between program leadership and delivery teams.
Coordinate business stakeholders, IT teams, system integrators, and external partners.
Drive planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities to ensure delivery against scope, timeline, and quality objectives.
Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalation paths.
Support and challenge workstream leads to maintain alignment with overall program goals.
Drive readiness activities for data migration, cutover, testing, deployment, and go-live.
Prepare and deliver structured status reporting for program leadership and governance forums.
Ensure effective collaboration across international and cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
Functional Scope
The role will oversee delivery activities within the following SAP domains:
SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
SAP Enterprise Portfolio & Project Management (EPPM)
SAP Document Management System (DMS)
Migration and Cutover Planning & Execution
The role will work closely with teams responsible for integrations to Finance, Controlling, Procurement, and other enterprise functions, although direct ownership of those integration deliveries is not included in scope.
Extensive experience managing large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs from planning through deployment.
Proven track record leading complex, multi-stream SAP delivery initiatives.
Strong project experience covering SAP EAM and/or SAP EPPM.
Demonstrated experience with migration strategy, cutover planning, and go-live execution.
Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills across business and IT organizations.
Strong risk, dependency, and delivery management capabilities.
Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
