As Head Waiter, you are a key ambassador of RUNA on the floor. You lead by example in service, support the Hovmästare in supervising the team, and ensure guests are guided through their experience with confidence and warmth.
Sommelier training, wine certifications, or strong wine experience are highly meritorious, as you will actively contribute to our wine service and sales.

Support the Hovmästare in coordinating service and mentoring junior staff.
Present dishes, explain the menu, and tell the story behind RUNA.
Recommend wine and beverage pairings and support wine service at the table.
Handle payments, bookings, and guest information with accuracy and care.
Help manage opening and closing routines in the dining room.
Handle guest feedback and service recovery where needed.
Experience as Head Waiter, Senior Server, or similar in a quality-focused restaurant.
Confident in carrying a section and handling demanding service.
Strong interest in wine and beverages; sommelier or WSET studies are a strong plus.
Warm, attentive, and professional communication style.
Naturally supportive of colleagues – you lead through example, not ego.

Structured, reliable, and comfortable taking responsibility.
Fluent in Swedish and English.
Full-time position with evening and weekend work.
Reports to the Hovmästare / Head of Service.
