We are currently looking for a Solution Engineer with a focus on IFS and cloud transformation, for a long-term assignment in an advanced industrial environment.
As a Solution Engineer, you will work close to business, collaborating with stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into concrete IT solution requirements. These requirements are realized through hands-on configuration, testing, and support in our IT solutions, with a focus on IFS Cloud.
You will be part of a cross-functional team consisting of a Digital Product Area Owner, Solution Engineer, and Business Analyst. Together, you will support critical production systems used in our factories.
We are currently entering an exciting and business critical phase, as we are migrating our existing system portfolio to a cloud-based environment (IFS Cloud) in a 2-year long migration program. As a consultant in this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a smooth transition, safeguarding current operations while shaping the future technical platform.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand and clarify business and operational needs
- Translate business needs into system requirements and hands-on solution configuration (IFS Cloud)
- Act as a system expert with deep understanding of how the solutions are used in factory operations
- Perform IT testing and support quality assurance activities
- Support rollout, upgrade, and migration activities related to the cloud transformation (IFS Cloud)
- Provide IT-specific support and guidance to our factories during daily operations and change initiatives

You bring an analytical and structured way of working, communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and take end-to-end ownership of your responsibilities. An agile mindset and curiosity to learn the business and systems in depth are key to succeeding in this role.
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar
- Experience of working in agile development environments
- Experience from the automotive or manufacturing industry is an advantage
- Experience with IT testing activities is an advantage
- Knowledge of IFS / IFS Cloud is highly beneficial
- Knowledge of Oracle / SQL is beneficial
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Open-minded, curious, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership
