Aonic is moving fast. It is on a hypergrowth path to become Europe’s next leading technology group, and we are looking for an IT/Security lead to join our journey.
As our IT/Security Lead, you will own, design, and elevate Aonic Group’s global IT infrastructure and cybersecurity posture. In a distributed company, security and seamless technology are the bedrock of our operations. You will balance hands-on technical execution with strategic leadership, ensuring our internal systems are robust, scalable, and resilient against modern threats, while empowering our global teams to work efficiently and securely.
Security Infrastructure & Strategy: Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive corporate cybersecurity strategy, ensuring endpoint security, identity management (IAM), and secure data access across a distributed workforce.
IT Operations Management: Lead the administration of our cloud-based infrastructure and core SaaS tools (e.g., Microsoft 365/Azure AD, Google Workspace, MDM solutions, and collaboration platforms).
Incident Response & Threat Mitigation: Act as the primary point of contact for security incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
Compliance & Governance: Stay aligned with global data protection regulations (such as GDPR). Establish clear, pragmatic internal security policies and frameworks without introducing unnecessary corporate bureaucracy.
Onboarding & Identity Lifecycle: Partner with HR/Talent Acquisition to automate and secure the IT onboarding/offboarding lifecycle, managing hardware provisioning, access controls, and software licensing.
Employee Awareness: Drive a culture of security awareness by educating teams on phishing, data handling, and safe remote work practices.
A few years of experience in IT administration and infrastructure, with a strong, dedicated focus on cybersecurity/information security.
Solid capability to navigate enterprise-level cloud environments (Azure/M365, AWS, SaaS) and MDM tools (Intune/Jamf), combined with a curiosity and keen interest in continuously expanding your expertise across these ecosystems
A pragmatic & agile mind set: You understand security in a fast-paced, modern environment. You don't build blockades; you build secure, paved paths that enable the business to move fast safely.
Excellent communication skills: Fluency in English is a must. You can translate complex technical risks into clear, actionable advice for non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
Strong self-drive: You thrive in an autonomous environment where you manage your own energy and deliverables to achieve absolute world-class results.
Ambitious people, real ownership. Work with driven people who challenge each other openly and take full ownership of meaningful parts of the business.
A company that prioritizes growth, performance, and impact. Comfort isn’t the goal here, progress is. We set a high bar and focus on delivering real results.
A highly ambitious environment with a clear goal. Building the next European tech challenger is not just an idea, it is our mission. Everything we do is driven by the ambition to compete at the highest level and win.
Direct exposure to leadership and real decision-making. You’ll work closely with experienced leaders, contribute to strategic discussions, and see how decisions shape the business in real time.
Perks that help you focus on what matters. Transport subsidy, learning budget, wellness and gym, workation, bi-weekly team lunches, and more. The perks are great, but the real reason people join and stay is the challenge, the ownership, and the drive to win together.
