We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Assignment Leader for a long-term consulting assignment within the automotive industry.
The assignment focuses on driving the localization of parts for a new international production hub. You will be part of a team of Assignment Leaders and play a key role in ensuring that localized parts are introduced into production according to agreed timelines and cost targets.
The role involves extensive cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders across Production, Logistics, R&D, and Purchasing.

Lead and coordinate localization activities for parts within the assigned technical area.

Ensure localized parts are introduced into production on time and according to cost targets.

Drive cross-functional activities throughout the localization process.

Collaborate closely with Production, Logistics, R&D, and Purchasing.

Monitor timelines, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress.

Identify bottlenecks and contribute to shorter lead times.

Ensure structured and efficient project execution.

Communicate progress, risks, and required actions to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements

BSc or MSc in Engineering.

Several years of experience within R&D in the automotive industry.

Strong understanding of automotive product development processes.

Good product and technical understanding.

Previous experience in Project Management or Assignment Leadership.

Experience coordinating multiple functions and stakeholders.

Fluent English, written and spoken.
