Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to join our Wholesale Menswear team on a temporary basis to provide maternity leave coverage until October 2027. In this role, you will build and maintain effective long-term relationships with our wholesale partners to ensure high levels of satisfaction and drive revenue growth across our menswear collections.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for achieving sales plan and reviewing performance on a regular basis.
Sales
- Plan market schedules and make and confirm appointments with clients.
- Plan and negotiate purchase levels with client.
- Liaise with client to suggest and increase re-orders.
- Ensure that collection is bought reflecting PRL brand and style values.
- Check orders are entered correctly.
Account Maintenance
- Visit top 10 accounts at least once a quarter, and telephone at least once a week.
- Visit all other accounts at least twice a year and telephone at least once a month.
- Work with retailer and merchandise coordinator to maximise sell-thru of product.
- Monitor deliveries, providing feedback to clients where necessary.
- Sales training and clinics SP/FA to wholesale-accounts.
Analysis & Reporting
- Collect and analyse weekly retail sales information from your clients.
Report findings to Sales Manager and Merchandise Coordinators ensuring that ‘hotspots’ etc. are flagged.
- Provide end of season report, detailing overall financial performance, best and worst sellers, summary of reorders, stock levels, deliveries, returns etc.
Relationship building with:
- Merchandise Coordinators.
- Department Managers, Store Managers, Floor Managers, Buyers, Visual display staff.
- Corner Sales teams (both employed by PRL and store).

- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and support the organization both within the team but also with other RL departments locally and on a European basis Customer service, Finance, Concession business, Marketing, Brand Planning, etc.).

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
- Experience in Wholesale Sales required with additional experience in Retail fashion environment preferred.
- Computer literate, familiar with excel and ordering systems.
