About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Model Geometry Engineer to join a highly skilled design and development team responsible for the geometry creation and refinement of both interior and exterior automotive design models. The role involves supporting the development of physical and digital presentation models, including full-scale clay models, milled components, and 3D-printed parts used throughout the design and validation process.
This position requires close collaboration with designers, modelers, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure high-quality geometry delivery that meets project requirements and timing.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain geometry for interior and exterior design models.
Create and modify presentation models, color and trim bucks, and show models.
Prepare and optimize CAD data for milling, prototype construction, and 3D printing.
Support the development of full-scale clay models and other physical design representations.
Ensure geometry quality, manufacturability, and compliance with project standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams throughout the design process.
Contribute to prototype and show vehicle development activities.
Requirements:
5–10 years of experience working with CATIA V5 within the automotive industry.
Strong experience in prototype construction and geometry development using CATIA V5 or similar CAD platforms.
Proven background in developing:
Strong understanding of automotive design and model development processes.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
