As an Account Manager for the Femklövern & Gävleborg region, you will play a key role in developing strategic relationships with senior decision-makers across hospitals and healthcare providers. You will drive sales of vascular access products, ensuring customers receive comprehensive support through BD’s high-quality product portfolio. Collaborating closely with colleagues in Sweden and the Nordic team, you will contribute to the company’s growth by focusing on proactive customer engagement and field-based sales efforts. You will share responsibility for this region with another associate while being on the field 4 times a week, ensuring strong coverage and support for customers. This opportunity comes at a particularly exciting commercial moment, with a recently awarded regional tender creating significant growth opportunities across the portfolio. We are therefore seeking a proactive sales professional who can capitalize on these opportunities.
OUR VISION FOR MDS AT BD:
As a leading manufacturer and supplier of products that are used daily in healthcare, the Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) team provide a wide range of products for injection and infusion therapy, regional anaesthesia and closed medication management.
Main responsibilities will include:

Achieve monthly and annual sales targets in line with financial year expectations.

Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive long-term business growth.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.

Deliver customer-centric solutions in alignment with BD’s sales methodology.

Maintain accurate reporting through systems and share market insights with the sales and marketing team.

Negotiate and manage contracts within assigned accounts.

Identify new customer segments and business opportunities to support commercial growth.

Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs through tailored solutions.
About you:

Understanding of the medical device market, particularly vascular access management, or a strong willingness to learn.

Proven sales experience within the healthcare industry or clinical expertise relevant to vascular access products is preferred.

Skilled in building trusted relationships and communicating at all levels.

Focused on achieving objectives, with the ability to develop and implement business plans.

Willing to adapt and learn new approaches, with a proactive mentality.

Traveling in this role is mandatory, with 4 days per week to be in the field as well as overnight stays expected.

Fluent in both English and Swedish.

Open to both senior professionals and junior candidates with strong potential, with a high willingness to engage customers
