As F&B Captain at Nobu Madrid, some of your tasks will be:
- The Captain is responsible for ensuring the excellent standard of customer service
- The Captain will greet guests pleasantly and efficiently.
- Ensure orders are placed will distribute supplies
- Will administer the rota and floor plan for Front of House Team
- To work closely with the management
- Shall be involved in the progression of new team members
- Will complete evaluations for team members
- Will conduct weekly meetings to discuss goals of all team members
- Ensure the ongoing training of all front of house team members
- Enforcing the rules and regulations for Nobu
- The pre-meal meeting briefing
- To constantly enforce service standards to ensure they align with Nobu standards
- Being aware of the development/growth of team members
- Keep the Captains daily journal up to date
- Listening to complaints and inform Managers of any outstanding issues
- Understanding and enforcing the seriousness of the Omakase. Product knowledge is one of the key reasons for our success
- Supporting, recognizing, encouraging and bringing out the best qualities in your employees
- The Captain will lead by example
- Ensuring the restaurant is correctly set up for Lunch/Dinner service
- Checking to see all duties have been completed prior to letting staff depart the building
- Cash up at the end of the day and ensure each servers micro bills have been accounted for.
- Ensure all menus and wine lists are printed
- Ensure all glassware, crockery and cutlery is to the standard required by Nobu
- Taking turns with your fellow Captains to close the restaurant.
- Pay attention to the accounts and communicate with the accounts department
- Prepare for the weekly Captains meeting
- Must adhere to standards and rules of Nobu
