Founded in Sweden in January 2021 Paragast is a funded startup incubated at SSEBL. We have built a video platform that makes it possible for creators (YouTubers, Influencers & TikTokers) to monetize & connect with their fans via video calls on our platform in 1:1 sessions or smaller group sessions. The team has grown rapidly from 2 to 6 persons in less than a year and we have started hosting sessions with creators all around the world connecting them with their fans.
UX Designer
Joining Paragast as our UX Designer means that you will be spearheading our design initiatives, we are constantly developing & optimizing design elements for both desktop & mobile for our platform. You will work closely with the founders and also get insights from different business aspects in the startup world.
We are looking for a talented UX Designer that will have a real impact from day 1. Join in at our office at SSE Business Labs with several other startups and you will be part of a great community of like-minded entrepreneurs.
We are open for both full-time & part-time applicants.
Who We Are Looking For:

Firm grasp of design fundamentals demonstrated by a portfolio of digital projects
- Meticulous attention to detail and a keen eye for typography and visual hierarchy
- Clear and effective communication skills in articulating design concepts and rationales
- Experience using Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar software
- Positive attitude with a desire to grow within a collaborative, inspiring teamwork environment
- Fluent in English
- Someone who loves the creator economy
- Be a UX advocate incorporating best practices when designing key interactions and workflows, while working closely with developers to see your design through to deployment
- Leadership skills that enable you to drive projects independently and successfully, and gain stakeholder confidence
- Work experience as a UX designer is preferred
