Do you want to work with products that save lives and make a difference in society?
As a UX Designer at Sectra you collaborate with end users - radiologists, pathologists, surgeons, primary care doctors, nurses, and IT managers - to create efficient and easy-to-use medical software products. You collaborate closely with our development teams, help them bring the designs to life, and ensure that all solutions are easy to use and intuitive.
Working as a UX designer at Sectra
We believe that the key to creating the best products and services is through collaboration throughout the entire product lifecycle. You will build relationships with our customers and learn first-hand about their workflows, needs, and pain points. Together with the development teams, you will implement the designed workflows. To succeed in this we see that you have experience and knowledge about software development, preferably within healthcare. You are looking to find the right solution to our customers problems by rapid prototyping, user testing and close cooperation with our users. You will also interact regularly with a team of other UX designers at Sectra, sharing ways of working and gaining insights into what other colleagues with a similar role and background are doing.
After 2 months, you will likely do user research in collaboration with another UX designer. After 6 months, you will create findings from user research and create prototypes with support from another UX designer. After 12 months, you will be responsible for everything UX related for 1 or 2 small development teams.
Life at Sectra
We take what we do seriously and the work put into our solutions is prioritized by us and the ideas from customers and stakeholders at Sectra. However, we like to have fun as well and want and encourage all our employees to explore their own ideas. Every six weeks, a two-day “RAD-Friday” is arranged where all our engineers have the opportunity to work on their ideas.
We can guarantee you a challenging and rewarding position, and as a UX designer at Sectra, you will for sure get to spend lots of time creating smart solutions.
