About the Assignment
You will be part of the Regional IT Operations team (Nordics), working with both 1st and 2nd line support as well as infrastructure operations and improvements. The role combines hands-on IT support, system administration, and continuous improvement of IT environments in a distributed, international setup.
Scope of Work
Provide IT support to end users (office, remote workforce, and field engineers)
Handle 1st and 2nd line support via Service Desk
Perform daily monitoring of systems and integrations
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents
Manage local IT suppliers and stakeholders
Ensure clear and professional end-user communication
Infrastructure & Administration
System administration across Windows-based environments
Contribute to stable and redundant IT solutions
Implement and test changes and improvements
Support infrastructure-related development and optimization
Development & Improvement
Drive smaller local infrastructure projects
Document solutions, procedures, and environments
Identify and implement improvements in IT processes
Participate in collaboration with European IT teams
Act as a key member of the Nordic IT Operations team
Support Service Desk across regions when needed
Collaborate with Application Operations and Information Solutions teams
Key Competencies
Strong experience with Microsoft Active Directory & Entra ID
Solid knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server (2019/2022/2025)
Experience with Microsoft Teams and Intune
Basic understanding of Exchange
Experience with VMware environments
Knowledge of Windows-based networks
Experience troubleshooting 1st & 2nd line issues
Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, problem, service requests)
Experience working with modern Service Desk tools
Requirements
Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure within a global environment
Experience working in centralized/hosted IT environments
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Willingness to travel within the Nordic region (including Norway)
