Hi! We’re Migränhjälpen - a digital healthcare company on a mission to improve the lives of people living with migraine and chronic headache. We’re building modern digital tools that make specialist care more accessible, efficient and patient-centred.
Migraine is an incredibly common and drastically under-treated disease. It affects more than 1 million people in Sweden, most of which never reach a neurologist to receive the right treatment. Our mission is to provide efficient care with real specialists without long waiting times. Digitally when possible, physically when needed.
We’re now looking for a senior Full Stack Product Engineer to help us scale and operate our TypeScript-based digital healthcare platform. You’ll play a central role in shaping our product, including our patient app, backoffice systems and API integrations.
You want to make a difference for real people, and be part of helping struggling patients get the best care possible.
You have at least 5 years of experience of software development, most of it in TypeScript.
You're comfortable working all across the stack, with strong skills in backend development, but also solid in Front-end and DevOps.
You enjoy working with modern AI tools like Claude Code, and figuring out how to get the most out of them.
You enjoy working in a small, friendly engineering team with close communication, high trust and autonomy.
You’re a good communicator, and like talking to the rest of the organisation to understand how things work and how your work will affect our users and employees.
You enjoy working in a hybrid set up, with some days at the office and some days at home.
Experience from healthcare, security-sensitive or regulated environments is a plus.
Work in a small, efficient team, closely together with our CTO and three other developers.
Multi-platform product. You enjoy working truly full-stack, across app and web development, backend and DevOps/infrastructure.
Own releases and production quality. Improve CI/CD, deployments and environment configuration to keep shipping smooth and predictable.
Reliability and security by design. Strengthen monitoring, logging, alerting and access management to keep our systems stable, secure and compliant.
Collaborate closely with product and clinicians. Work with the team to translate real healthcare workflows into maintainable technical solutions.
Influence. As an early engineering hire, you’ll have significant influence over our technical direction, architecture choices and engineering practices.
Hybrid. We’re based in Stockholm, with most of the engineering team working remotely in Sweden.
Our platform is built around modern web technologies with a strong focus on automation, cloud infrastructure and maintainability.
Infrastructure: AWS, GCP (Data platform), Docker
CI/CD: Bitbucket Pipelines, Expo EAS
Backend: Node.js (TypeScript), Next.js
Frontend: React Native (Expo), React
Location: Hybrid role in Stockholm, Sweden.
Start: August/September or as soon as possible.
Language: Strong Swedish and English skills required.
Relocation/VISA: We don’t offer relocation support or VISA sponsorships at this point.
If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, we’d love to hear from you! No need to attach a resume file, just link your LinkedIn profile and write a short note on why you're interested in us in the Cover Letter section.
