We are currently looking for an 100% remote Funeral Sales Consultant to handle inbound inquiries from families and private individuals who need to arrange funeral services in the United Kingdom.
Your primary task is to guide clients through our comprehensive range of funeral services based on their specific needs, providing professional, warm, and comforting guidance during a difficult time.
The UK funeral market has long been dominated by a traditional, conservative approach. However, our strength at Fenix lies in recognizing that the modern UK is beautiful, diverse, and fluid. Many of our clients do not fit the traditional British mold, and we are incredibly proud to serve them exactly as they are, respecting all cultures, beliefs, and personal wishes when planning a final farewell.
We are specifically seeking candidates with origins in, or significant professional experience from, the United Kingdom. You must be fluent in English and operate through your own limited company (Aktiebolag or equivalent), as you will be working as an independent contractor. Upon agreement, we will sign a consultancy agreement and an NDA.
Inbound Funeral Consultation: Receive and handle inbound calls from individuals and families needing immediate or pre-planned funeral services.
Empathetic Advisory: Engage in respectful, advisory dialogues to tailor funeral arrangements, legal services, and memorial choices to the customer’s needs.
End-to-End Support: Ensure customers receive accurate information, transparent pricing, and emotional support throughout the entire funeral planning process.
Goal Alignment: Collaborate closely with the Fenix team to achieve established quality and sales goals.
Start: Immediate.
Hours: Flexible. Because loss doesn't follow a schedule, our clients require assistance 24/7.
Training: Comprehensive digital training via our portal + 4 hours of live onboarding with a Fenix expert to get you fully acquainted with the funeral industry and our platform.
Base Pay: An hourly consultancy fee of X SEK per hour.
Commission: Additional commission is paid at X SEK per completed and confirmed funeral order.
Invoicing: All payments are made via invoice from your limited company (excl. VAT).
To thrive in this unique and meaningful role, you should meet the following criteria:
UK Background: You have your origins in the UK or extensive experience working within the British market, understanding its cultural nuances.
Language Skills: You are fluent in English (native level is highly meritorious) and possess native-level proficiency in Swedish (written and spoken).
Empathy & Sales Experience: Documented sales or advisory experience, preferably within insurance, banking, or other relationship-driven sectors. You know how to balance sales targets with deep emotional intelligence and sensitivity.
Setup: You run your own limited company and have access to a quiet home-office environment, a computer, a stable internet connection, and a professional headset.
Mindset: You enjoy personal responsibility, possess high emotional resilience, and are driven by the opportunity to influence your own earnings.
