Braathens is looking for a Flight Operations Compliance Auditor to join a professional and safety-focused organisation where operational excellence and regulatory compliance are at the core of the business. Duties
- Plan, prepare and conduct audits and inspections within the flight operations domain, in accordance with the established Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP) and company procedures.
- Assist in the design, review and updating of the Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP).
- Apply best practice and deliver a high level of productivity and objectivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements in accordance with applicable regulations, legislation, rules and aviation industry safety standards, as well as the requirements of aviation authorities.
Areas of Responsibility
- Ensure that work is carried out in full compliance with international standards and regulations (EASA, IOSA and national requirements in accordance with the Swedish Transport Agency regulations).
- Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including authorities and aircraft manufacturers, in connection with audits or otherwise within the scope of the role.
- Maintain good relations with national aviation authorities.
- Analyse findings within the compliance monitoring system.
- Evaluate the quality of findings within the compliance auditing system and, where necessary, withdraw or close them.
- Participate in relevant training courses, meetings and seminars as directed by the Compliance Monitoring Manager.
- Maintain competence and awareness through material published and distributed within the company’s manual system.
- Represent the company at various internal and external meetings.
- Assist with safety-related tasks as assigned by the Flight Safety Department.
We are looking for someone who:
- Wants to learn how an airline and the aviation system works
- Has a good knowledge of civil aviation regulations and standards
- Holds an ATPL(A) or CPL(A) with ATPL theoretical knowledge and has at least five (5) years of commercial flying experience.
- Is a strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, in Swedish and English.
- Has a high level of personal integrity and can work independently, in a structured manner and with good prioritisation skills.
- Is analytical, meticulous, resilient under pressure and service oriented.
- Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and focuses on creating the best possible conditions for the operation.
- Is able to obtain security clearance from Swedish authorities.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience from a similar role within Compliance and Safety.
- ATR type rating, not necessarily current.
- TRI and/or TRE qualification.
- Documented administrative competence from a similar working environment.
