We’re looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a strategic CMS preliminary study for a major Swedish public-sector organization.
Location: Stockholm, Sweden | Hybrid – Remote work approximately 2 days/week, if the assignment allows
What You’ll Do
Lead the preliminary study for a CMS upgrade or new CMS implementation
Assess current architecture, integrations, dependencies, risks, and technical requirements
Evaluate platform options covering functionality, security, costs, operations, and future development
Develop a clear implementation plan and content migration strategy
Define resource, competency, risk, and cost requirements
Work closely with architects, developers, product managers, service designers, communications, and web teams
Prepare strategic analysis and decision-making materials for steering committees and management
Support RFI/RFP preparation and supplier evaluation where required
What We’re Looking For
8+ years of experience leading major IT/digitalization projects
Strong hands-on experience with modern CMS platforms
Proven experience with CMS migration, replacement, implementation, or procurement
Strong understanding of complex IT environments, integrations, and technical dependencies
Experience presenting strategic options and recommendations to senior management/steering committees
Excellent Swedish speaking and writing skills
Public-sector experience involving information security, GDPR, accessibility, information management, or cloud services is highly desirable
Work Mode: Hybrid — Stockholm, with approximately 2 days per week remote work, if the assignment allows.
