VP GROUP FINANCE

Position Overview
As Vice President Group Finance at Permobil, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction of a global, purpose-driven organization. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the Group Finance function and act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, including Regional Presidents and functional heads, to drive business performance and sustainable growth. You will also have extensive interaction with owners and financial institutions.
In this role, you will oversee financial planning, analysis, and management reporting at group level, ensuring that high-quality insights support decision-making for management, board members, owners, and external stakeholders. You will be instrumental in strengthening financial governance, optimizing processes, and driving a performance-oriented culture across the organization. With a strong business mindset, you will balance strategic leadership with operational excellence, ensuring that Permobil continues to deliver on its ambitions in a complex and international environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and inspire the Group Finance team,
- Own and drive group-level financial planning & analysis (FP&A),
- Deliver high-quality management reporting (internal and external stakeholders),
- Partner with senior leaders to provide financial insights, challenge assumptions, and support decision-making,
- Develop and implement financial metrics, processes, and performance frameworks,
- Oversee cash management, group financing, and banking relationships,
- Ensure effective tax structuring and tax management,
- Drive alignment and consistency of FP&A processes across divisions,
- Strengthen business control and financial governance across group functions,
- Lead cost management initiatives and identify efficiency opportunities,
- Drive business intelligence development and data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills

Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and management reporting within complex, international environments,
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams,
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of finance disciplines (FP&A, accounting, tax, treasury, M&A, financing),
- Experience from international and preferably matrixed organizations,
- Demonstrated experience in financing, banking relationships, and corporate tax matters,
- Strong analytical capability and ability to translate data into actionable insights,
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels,
- Ability to operate both strategically and operationally, with a strong attention to detail,
- High level of resilience, integrity, and results orientation
Meriting Skills

Background in M&A, including pre- and post-acquisition integration,
- Experience from developing and improving Finance processes in high growth settings,
- Experience working in high-growth and/or manufacturing environments,
- Familiarity with private equity ownership structures or similar professional ownership models,
- Prior responsibility for financing, bank relationships and corporate tax matters
