Purpose of Role
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance of various sites and leading a team of Lightning Protection Technicians. The primary focus will be to ensure the efficient delivery of projects, maintain high-quality standards and foster positive client relationships. Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills will be crucial in successfully managing the site team and delivering project expectations.
Responsibilities

Oversee the overall operations and maintenance of various earthing & Lightning Protection projects, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently.

Develop and implement maintenance schedules, work plans and procedures to ensure effective utilisation of resources, labour and timely completion of tasks.

Conduct regular inspections to assess quality of work, identify maintenance needs and implement appropriate corrective measures.

Coordinate with the site team to resolve any issues promptly and minimise disruptions to client operations.

Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration and professional development.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project Managers, understanding their needs, addressing any concerns.

Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and industry standards.

Implement and monitor health and safety protocols and procedures to create a safe work environment for the site team and clients; acting as Safety Representative
Requirements

Proven experience in construction industry or a similar role, with a minimum of 2 years of experience overseeing multiple sites.

Electrical background advantageous but not essential.

Strong understanding of lightning protection systems, electrical engineering principles, and construction practices.

Excellent leadership and team-building abilities, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Strong client relationship management skills, with a customer-centric approach and a commitment to exceeding expectations.

Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.

Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages such as German Dutch, French, or Spanish would be advantageous but not required.
