This position demands equally a strong presence on site and strong ability to document and perform office work. You will be accessing a construction worksite on a regular basis.
The essential duties and responsibilities for this job are connected to the implementation of ITS & electromechanical systems within infrastructure projects (road & tunnel):
- Become a contact point for SICE and SICE’s representation in front of clients and other stakeholders on-site.
- Develop and assistance to prepare project-related documentation such as project plans, reports, etc. (under project leader’s supervision).
- Management of the project’s Environmental duties, among others: safety rounds, material suitability, gathering documents from subcontractors (diaries, chemical list, vehicle list, ID06, installed materials, ...), reporting, documentation, inspections, etc.
- Management of the project’s Health and Safety duties, among others: fire protection, safety rounds, gathering and review of documents from subcontractors (diaries, chemical list, vehicle list, ID06, installed materials, ...), reporting, documentation, inspections, etc.
- Management of the project’s Quality duties – Make sure that quality practices are properly implemented by SICE’s team as well as subcontractors and make internal assessment periodically of the quality of the project. Prepare documentation, reporting, inspections, surveys, etc.
- Review, handling and supervision of subcontractors’ and suppliers’ documentation (arbetsberedning, incident reports, dagböcker, and other equivalent documentation related to quality, environment, health & safety, etc.).
- Represent the company in audits (both internal and with the customer) related to Environment, H&S and quality.
- Represent the company project level meetings such as, but not limited to: KMA meetings, Contract Meetings, Design Meetings, etc.
- Report on the day-to-day to the Project Leader.
- Produce routine documentation related to KMA. E.g., Risk analyses, monthly reports, work preparations, assembly instruction documents, plans, etc.
- Reception of materials and verification prior to installation. Log it to system.
- Administration and daily work on client’s platforms for documentation, notifications, etc.
- Follow information security routines and guidelines and follow up its correct implementation. Participate and lead information security meetings and audits.
- Follow-up and inspect the appropriate training for all team members as well as contractors (work at heights, arbete på väg, project specific training, etc.)
- Supervise subcontractors’ work from a KMA perspective, making sure it is implemented as planned (production,order & protection, environmental practices, etc.)
- Daily work with SICE’s tools for time reporting, work logging, incident handling, etc.
- Sporadic support for KMA activities to other projects belonging to the Nordic branch.
- Occasional nightwork might occur.
The requirements for this job position are:
- Swedish native and proficiency in English with excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Thorough and structured routines and consistency is key for this position. So is the capacity to produce office work and establish high quality documentation standards.
- Strong digital skills – most of the reporting and documentation will take place through digital platforms.
- Engineering university degree or technical degree in HSEQ or similar.
- Certified BAS-P / BAS-U
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in similar assignments.
- Team player: open minded, collaborative, ready to help/support when needed. Proactivity.
- Extensive use of MS Office package.
- Good time management.
- Must demonstrate eligibility to work in Sweden.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Additional valuable skills.
- Knowledge in Traffic Systems such as Tolling Systems, Intelligent Transport Systems, Tunnels, etc.
- Previous working experience in Sweden’s national authorities such as Trafikverket or Region Stockholm
