BCIC Swiss | Best Connect International Company is looking for an experienced IT Support Techniker to join our team in Sweden.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line IT support, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations for end users in an on-site environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support for end-user issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity-related problems.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to resolve complex IT and AV-related issues when required.
- Communicate clearly and promptly regarding issue status, progress, and resolution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all incidents and service requests.
- Install, configure, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and Cisco Jabber.
- Provide basic support for macOS and Apple devices.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
- Perform remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and authorized peripheral devices.
- Use appropriate diagnostic tools to identify and resolve workstation hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
Required Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience in 1st and 2nd line IT support.
- Good knowledge of Windows environments.
- Basic knowledge of macOS and Apple devices.
- Experience with hardware, printers, peripherals, and network connectivity troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently in an on-site support environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Requirements
- Valid work permit for Sweden – Mandatory.
- Several years of professional experience in a similar IT Support role.
- Good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and common IT support tools.
- Swedish and English – B2 level required.
- Ability to work effectively with end users, internal teams, and third-party vendors.
