Through close collaboration with designers, engineers, project managers, and suppliers, we create physical models and prototypes that are central to the design and decision‑making process.
Our work is highly visible—our models directly support management decisions and define the future direction of Volvo Cars. The department consists of four specialized areas:Concept Modelling & Model Support, Physical Exterior Modelling, Physical Interior Modelling, Colour & Material Modelling.
