To support this journey, we are seeking an experienced PMO / Senior Project Manager who will play a key role in scaling our operations, leading strategic initiatives and supporting the development of world-class manufacturing capabilities.

As PMO / Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and leading the scale-up process, while driving some of the company's most critical strategic and operational projects.
You will work closely with executive leadership, manufacturing, engineering, R&D, supply chain and international partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with business objectives.
The ideal candidate has firsthand experience participating in multiple factory build-ups, taking manufacturing operations from concept and facility design through commissioning, ramp-up and mass production.
This role requires a highly structured leader who can navigate complex environments, manage multiple stakeholders and successfully execute projects across different countries, cultures and functions.
Establish, develop and lead the company's Projects
Define project governance, methodologies, reporting structures and best practices
Create transparency, accountability and alignment across strategic initiatives
Develop project portfolio management processes and performance metrics
Support executive management with project prioritisation and resource allocation
Lead cross-functional strategic projects from initiation to successful completion
Ensure projects are delivered according to scope, timeline, budget and quality requirements
Manage project risks, dependencies and escalation processes
Coordinate stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, operations, supply chain and business functions
Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
Support factory establishment, expansion and scale-up initiatives
Participate in facility planning, equipment implementation and production ramp-up
Coordinate activities related to manufacturing readiness and operational launch
Support the transition from pilot production to mass production
Ensure alignment between manufacturing strategy and business objectives
Collaborate closely with teams and partners in Europe and China
Coordinate projects involving suppliers, customers and strategic partners
Support communication and execution across multiple geographies and cultures
Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
We are looking for a highly experienced project leader with a strong industrial background and a proven ability to execute complex initiatives in fast-growing organisations.
You have a hands-on approach, strong business acumen and the ability to bridge strategy and execution.
You are equally comfortable discussing factory layouts, manufacturing processes, operational strategy and executive-level business decisions.
Most importantly, you have successfully navigated the challenges associated with scaling manufacturing operations and understand what it takes to build world-class production capabilities.
The position involves frequent international travel, particularly to China, including extended on-site periods as required to support project execution, supplier coordination, and operational development activities.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations, Manufacturing, Business Administration or related field
Extensive experience in project management, program management or PMO leadership
Proven track record of leading large-scale industrial or manufacturing projects
Experience participating in multiple factory build-ups from greenfield development through mass production
Strong understanding of manufacturing technologies, operations and industrialisation processes
Experience managing cross-functional and international project teams
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong leadership and organisational capabilities
Experience from semiconductor, electronics, advanced materials, battery, automotive or deep-tech industries
Experience working in scale-up environments
Experience supporting international manufacturing expansion
Knowledge of advanced manufacturing and automation technologies
PMP, Prince2 or equivalent project management certification
Fluent English, written and spoken
Chinese (Mandarin) is highly preferred
Swedish is considered an advantage
