Force & Motion Control has an exciting and career-building opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our global Informational Technologies team as Manager, ERP & Business Applications. This newly created leadership position will play a key role in driving the Barnes Digital Architecture strategy. This individual will oversee applications development activities including Integrations and Middleware. This individual will be responsible for implementing internal applications that promote efficiency throughout Force & Motion Control. Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operations and planning of the FMC ERP systems and related application technology landscape to ensure enterprise applications and distinct software packages align with business objectives and technology strategy.
- Plan, coordinate, and direct all activities related to the development and management of internal applications that enhance business operations and allow FMC to continuously improve.
- Assess current enterprise applications and ERP solutions (people, process, and technology) to design a future state and roadmap. Work closely with leadership to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support optimal technology solutions.
- Develop, lead, and direct ERP and enterprise application operations, planning and coordinate project execution.
- Drive process automation activities to support businesses using business intelligence tools in support dashboarding and visual management of operations.
- Manage, train, and develop the technology team to inspire growth and innovative solutions.
- Maintain operational standards consistent with defined team metrics and SLAs, and adherence to governance and compliance requirements. Ensure auditable change management processes and security protocols are followed.
- Fostering vendor relationships, manage billing, cost management, and the FMC IT budget.
- Act as point of contact for all Internal Information Technology team members for areas of responsibility.

Qualifications:
- 5 years of progressive experience working in a management role, IT delivery, operations, and/or business processes
- Working knowledge of Master Data Management principles, as well as integration technologies and methodologies
- Knowledge and previous experience with cloud / hybrid / on-premise distributed application deployment technologies (client-server, SaaS apps, cloud hosted ERP etc….)
- Familiar with database applications, reporting toolsets, and data analytic concepts. Ability to effectively influence and work across other disciplines and business leaders
- Strong leadership and people engagement skills; leads by example, history of developing effective working relationships which foster integrity, trust, and respect.
- Experience working in a global multi-company and multi-national IT environment preferred.
- Familiar with SOX auditing requirements and other compliance frameworks
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related studies, may be substituted for four (4) years of business operations experience.
