We are expanding our ServiceNow Business Group in the Nederlands & Nordics and seeking visionary IRM ServiceNow Business Architects to help our clients transform their businesses, drive innovation, and achieve measurable outcomes.
Your Role as a ServiceNow IRM Business Architect
As a trusted advisor and technical leader, you will:
Participate in a transformation program where ServiceNow is being implemented to strengthen the client’s risk and control environment, with a specific focus on Integrated Risk Management (IRM).
In this role, you will act as a bridge between business and IT, supporting the business organization throughout the requirement and design phases to ensure effective adoption of ServiceNow IRM capabilities. You will help translate risk, compliance, and control requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and internal governance frameworks.
Key responsibilities include:

Supporting business stakeholders (risk, compliance, internal audit) in defining requirements for risk management, control frameworks, policy management, and issue remediation within ServiceNow

Advising on best practices for structuring risk and control frameworks in ServiceNow, including taxonomy, hierarchies, and data models

Guiding the business on how to efficiently leverage ServiceNow IRM modules (Risk Management, Policy & Compliance, Audit, Business Continuity Management, Issues Management)

Acting as a trusted advisor in discussions with IT to ensure business needs are effectively translated into system design and configuration

Driving alignment between business processes and ServiceNow capabilities, promoting standard platform adoption and minimizing customization

Supporting workshops, requirement refinement, and backlog definition in collaboration with product owners and development teams

Ensuring traceability between regulatory requirements, risks, controls, and remediation activities

Contributing to governance, change management, and rollout of IRM capabilities across the organization
