Take a Gap Year – Without Taking a Year Off Your Career.
Want to live abroad, but don't necessarily want to put your career on pause to do it?
You don't have to choose.
We're looking for Swedish speakers who want to relocate to Athens and join an international customer service team specialising in insurance, claims and device protection.
You'll get the experience of living and working abroad while building practical knowledge within an industry you can take with you into your next role.
And no – you don't need to already be an insurance expert.
You'll learn.
More Than Traditional Customer Service
When a customer's laptop breaks, an insured product needs replacing or someone needs to understand what their protection plan actually covers, you'll help them navigate what happens next.
That means you'll gain hands-on experience with the claims journey, rather than simply answering general customer enquiries.
Your responsibilities will include:
-
Registering and processing new claims
- Managing existing claims and providing status updates
- Explaining insurance coverage, eligibility and terms
- Helping coordinate repairs and replacements
- Managing customer complaints and escalations
- Maintaining accurate case documentation
- Following internal and regulatory procedures
- Working across CRM and specialised claims-management systems
The role requires both customer service and accurate case handling, including documentation, data protection and regulatory compliance.
You'll also learn to explain potentially complex insurance issues in plain language and handle challenging situations throughout the customer's claim journey.
Build Experience You Can Actually Use Afterwards
Maybe insurance is where your career ends up.
Maybe it isn't.
Either way, you'll be building transferable experience in areas such as:
Insurance & Claims | Customer Experience | Complaints Handling | GDPR & Compliance | Case Management | CRM Systems | International Operations
You'll receive structured induction training followed by supported on-the-job training, with ongoing refresher training as policies and processes change.
So when your time in Greece eventually comes to an end, you're not just coming home with photos and stories.
You're coming home with international work experience and a stronger CV.
And Did We Mention You'll Be Living in Athens?
Career development is great.
Career development followed by dinner outside in Athens isn't exactly worse.
You'll work on-site in an international environment, giving you the chance to meet people from different countries while experiencing what it's actually like to build a life abroad.
Your evenings and days off are yours to explore Athens, head to the coast, discover Greece or jump on a ferry for a weekend away.
Because developing professionally and having the adventure of your life are not mutually exclusive.
